Ex-Eastwick charmer Jaime Ray Newman is bringing her magic touch to Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva via a major season 2 arc, sources confirm.
Newman will play an accomplished lawyer from a rival law firm who possesses a killer instinct.
In other Drop Dead second-season casting news, Gilmore Girls alum Emily Kuroda (a.k.a. Mrs. Kim!) has been cast as the mother of Margaret Cho’s character, Teri. Additionally, Robin Givens will play a mean-spirited cosmetics lab exec who accuses Jane’s (Brooke Elliott) client of wrongdoing.

March 15th : Mark Stern, Executive Vice President of Development with Syfy, and Co-Head Original Content at Universal Cable Productions writes :
- James Callis (from Battlestar Galactica) will be part of EUREKA's season 4 as "Dr. Grant", a former resident of Eureka with an interest in Allison Blake,
- Syfy has ordered 20 episodes of Eureka, which will first be aired on Friday, July 9th 2010 ;
- the new Seasons brings a "cataclysmic shift" turning everybody's life upside down ;
- Jaime Ray Newman (Tess Fontana) and Matt Frewer (Taggart) will return as special guest stars !

Logorama is a 17-minute animated film written and directed by H5/ François Alaux, Hervé de Crécy and Ludovic Houplain, and produced by Autour de Minuit. The film depicts events in a stylized Los Angeles, and is told entirely through the use of more than 2,500 contemporary and historical logos and mascots. The film won the Prix Kodak at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival and the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 82nd Academy Awards.
